Microsoft to buy aQuantive for $6Bn

Some of you may already have heard about it: Microsoft bought aQuantive in a cash deal, its biggest ever, worth $6Bn.

If the deal is intended to strengthen Microsoft’s presence in the online advertising space, there is an interesting upside as far as I am concerned. Interestingly enough, Avenue A-Razorfish, a sister company of aQuantive, happens to own Duke Interactive here in France, making them now part of Microsoft!

For further information on the deal itself, you should check the Financial Times.
