I talked earlier about RG/A and the Nike+ concept. Well, I decided to use it myself and after close to two sportless years (this is what happens when you have kids!) I went back to running using a beautiful iPod Nano (Red) coupled with the Nike+ sensor.
I decided against changing my Adidas running shoes which are still fine (regardless of repeated threats from my favorite interactive agencies to switch to Nike) and just bought a $7 shoe wallet to insert the sensor inside. Believe it works fine!
So today I ran and did 5km in 27 minutes (on the graph you can see I reduced my speed right after that and cooled down for another 1k or so).
Bottom line, the system is great and I strongly encourage you to use it… I feel much better now!
My Nike+ alias is “nborgis”, so if you want to challenge me, please do

Just a quickie to let you faithful readers know that I have decided to burn my feed at FeedBurner. The result should be much more RSS reader friendly, therefore I strongly encourage you to update your feed settings and point to this one.
Keep tuned for more announcement as the Microsoft Global Exchange Summit (aka. MGX) is about to begin here in Orlando.

Today was the final of the Danone Nations’ Cup, a worldwide football competition in which kids from 40 countries aged 10-12 play together. Zinedine Zidane is the sponsor of this event in favor of ELA. This great event is the result of competitions being held at national level all over the world and as such gathers a very international crowd. A website has been created to support the event and make sure that this community can share pictures, videos and maybe just stay in touch year after year.

WebWare has just announced the results of its poll to pick the top 100 best web applications. The obvious ones are there, and we all use them on a daily basis. It is yet interesting to digg and discover ones unheard of (at least as far as I am concerned) like LastFM which makes it possible not only to listen to music but also to explore the long tail of hidden talents you may like based on your “mass-market” tastes.

We all know that mobile phones are very emotional items. Designers and luxury brands alike all have their own co-branding agreements with the latest, sleekest, sexiest gizmos. Just mention the iPhone during your next diner in town and you might start an endless conversation.
But until now it was all about form and functions. Well, think again and take a look at meetmoi as your favorite handset will also become your best way to get laid. As your mobile phone knows in which network cell you are located, meetmoi enables you to get in touch with your dates-to-be currently close by. And if it does not work out, you can switch your phone to vibrator mode. Emotional item indeed!

Some of you may wonder what my new header photo stands for. It is in fact the view we have from the house in Saint-Jacut de la Mer which is simply stunning: one really feels like on a boat.
If you want to check it out, be my guest: the house is located on the top-right-hand side of the map.

So it seems my blog is getting famous, at last! Last time I checked Technorati, I was ranked in the 400,000th position… still a long way to go
But look what you can see in places like Paris or Amsterdam these days:
Info from the city of lights
Tagging the walls in Amsterdam
These actually come from the letterjames website!

I know I am not supposed to talk about football here. However, since France won yesterday against Portugal its way into the finale, I thought I’d let you know about a cool gadget that makes it possible to have real-time info on the World Cup.
The gadget can be downloaded here. Since the finale is on Sunday, hurry!
